LA PICHINTÚN

  • De Mariana Muñoz, Harold Guidolin  y Pablo Sepúlveda
  • Country: Chili
  • Premiere: 2021
  • Target audience: All audiences
  • Length: 55 minutes

The Pichintún, a girl titanosauria discovered very recently in southern Chile, mysteriously revives to demand to be protected by those who have discovered it. It does so thanks to the passionate scientific work carried out by the doctor in paleontology, Vania Díaz, who together with her research team works tirelessly to discover what life on Earth was like millions of years ago.

This is how – a giant puppet of a Chilean titanosauria, which is capable of carrying Vania Díaz on its back – will travel through the streets of different cities in the country interacting with passersby and urban architecture while teaching about science and of paleontology when encountering enormous fossils of their ancestors.

With this adventure he will be able to explain to us the reason for the extinction of different forms of life that occurred on Earth in contexts of brutal transformation.
