Exhibition
MUSEO 31
A showcase that spans the 20-year history of 31 Minutes, the most important children's television series in Chile, an icon of popular culture recognized throughout Latin America. It will be a journey from its origins, when its protagonist was thought to be a fish, to its monumental live tours, showcasing a world full of unique characters and crazy situations.
Puppets, original sets and atmospheres, its inimitable music, unreleased documentary material, and a compilation of its most notable moments will bring to life an entertaining and exciting exhibition dedicated to its fans, both children and adults alike.
With this exhibition, we take a new step. A leap, hopefully. We do not see it as an end or as a display of laurels on which we will rest, but rather as another format to explore, expand our world, and revive that feeling of the new and unknown. Also, as a journey through a complex, unique, and collective creative process of two decades and a tribute to all who have ever participated in it and left their mark.
In MUSEO 31, Dr. Mojado, the unfortunate fish who preceded Tulio as the anchor face, welcomes you, because we want everything and everyone to be there: the seeds, the hundreds of main and supporting characters, the workshops, the internal history of the newsroom, and its multiple twists and turns. The music, the productions, the classic studio, and a good amount of archival material rescued from dusty hard drives and forgotten CDs and tapes. As always, the goals are to learn, excite, and entertain in good faith. All of this at once, the true miracle of 31 Minutes.

El programa
31 Minutes is a children's show starring puppets and created by the production company Aplaplac. It originated as a parody of a television news program and became a milestone in national children's production, enjoying high ratings during its four seasons on the air. In addition, its albums were best-sellers, and as a live performance, it made appearances at Lollapalooza Chile in 2012 and the Viña Festival in 2013. As a program, it addresses children's themes from a humorous and unbiased perspective. Its content features irreverent humor that has transcended ages and formats. The characters, far from being rigid role models, showcase both their virtues and flaws, aiming for a horizontal relationship with children. It has been recognized with four Altazor Awards and two Prix Jeunesse, along with a nomination for the International Emmy Awards.
Álvaro Díaz y Pedro Peirano
A creative duo that has produced, among multiple projects, TV programs like Plan Z, El factor humano, and 31 Minutes; the feature film 31 Minutes, la película (2008), and the documentary Los dibujos de Bruno Kulczewski (2004). Pedro Peirano co-directed the film Gatos viejos (2010), was a screenwriter for the feature films La vida me mata and La nana, by Sebastián Silva, and No, by Pablo Larraín. He has authored a dozen books as an illustrator. Both have been awarded the Altazor Award in the categories of Direction, Script, Children's Program, and TV Program.
