Biographies:

Tamara Cubas

Uruguayan artist who develops her production mainly on stage, acting in other media such as performance and visual arts, although her work always operates on the body and relationships. She delves into the performative body in a constant search for autonomy and also investigates the notion of the Other, developing projects with non-artistic populations and communities. Her recurring themes are History, Homeland, Power, Politics, interpersonal relationships, heterogeneity and dissent. She actively participates in the field of cultural management, designing and producing socio-cultural projects mainly from Campo Abierto in the department of Rivera, Uruguay.
