Three servants have grown used to obeying Mr. Bo’s every command. Though their relationship is one of devotion—almost dependence—there comes a moment when the urge to disobey begins to emerge.
They have served Mr. Bo their entire lives, since he was a child. At times, they imagine what the world would be like if they were the masters — what it would mean to hold power and depend on no one. So they play among themselves, donning masks and using clown-theater techniques to take on the role of the master, allowing themselves a fleeting moment of freedom and play.
Long ago, when Mr. Bo was still a boy, the servants had a chance to say “No!” — but they didn’t. Since then, he has ruled unchallenged for years. Now, a new opportunity to say “No!” will arise.
