A recipient of the Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award (2014) and ranked by Rolling Stone magazine as the third greatest Brazilian voice of all time, Ney Matogrosso arrives in Chile for the first time. As part of an alliance between Fundación Teatro a Mil and ¡HOLA RÍO!, the artist will perform at Court Central Anita Lizana in Santiago’s National Stadium on January 20, 2026.
This living legend of Brazilian music brings electrifying energy to the Teatro a Mil International Festival with his tour Bloco na Rua, which since 2019—after a brief pause during the pandemic—has been an overwhelming success with both audiences and critics, already touring multiple cities across Brazil, Portugal, the United States, and England.
At 84, Ney shows no signs of stopping. The repertoire was selected while he was touring with his previous show Atento aos Sinais: “It’s not a show of my greatest hits; I wanted to open myself more to my full trajectory. This time I mixed songs I had already recorded with works by other artists,” Ney explains.
