El trabajo follows a group of workshop participants in search of a form of radical experimentation. Matías, Marian, and Dina set up a system of rules, agreements, commandments, and strict protocols. Practice, self-discipline, and accidents. Attachment and detachment, penance and permission. They push through risky trials without measuring the consequences — experiments whose outcomes no one can predict.
Under a constant state of discipline and scrutiny, the group commits to a process of self-transformation. In this laboratory that blurs the line between theory and practice — and practice and theory — the results are as unpredictable as they are raw.
Inspired by the workshops that Federico León has led for over 15 years, El trabajo brings the director himself on stage, to test — in his own flesh — the very teaching methods he’s built over time.
