In the first monologue of her theatrical career, actress Ximena Rivas plays one of the most relevant figures of feminism in Chile, and stages her fight and desire to achieve the universal female vote.

It is the night of January 7, 1949, and the next day the law that will allow universal suffrage for women in Chile will be enacted. Amanda Labarca, a prominent feminist academic and suffragist, has arrived from the United States to participate in the ceremony. The night before is one of the most important milestones of her life, and after 15 hours of travel, she will have to face power, and herself, to decide how she will be remembered.
