He was trained in the world of traditional dance, and since the creation of the company, he has been able to learn about different styles of creation, thanks to the fact that Kukai Dantza creates contemporary shows based on traditional Basque dantza in collaboration with prestigious choreographers.

Teatro a Mil International Festival 2025 presents this dance show starring two dancers who speak through the movement of their bodies. They share origin (Basque Country), but not their traditions, which are very different.
The work articulates a reflection on different themes and dances. He, with the high legs of Basque dance, she, with her expressive arms and feet percolating the flamenco stage. Dialogue recovers traditions, highlights how they bring us closer and further apart, and inserts each person into a shared and at the same time unique story.
This encounter is far from being with a mirror, but it shows that difference is also capable of bringing us closer, especially when we look at others as themselves and not as a variation of ourselves.
