Written and directed by Daniel Veronese
Made in Buenos Aires and Santiago, “Ella lo Ama” marked the return for Daniel Veronese to the local stage directing chilean actors. Today, the acclaimed play continues its presentations in different cities along Chile.
“Ella lo ama” is a work about love and about what is talked about love. About what is sensible, about what is felt around it. Does it ever work to try to understand it in a way other than sentimentality? Is it worth it for us to question, to distrust love, to seek the hard and cold truth? One night, locked in a house, a couple receives a friend of theirs, who brings news about the permanence of love in their lives.
Written during confinement during the global pandemic and directed remotely, with the participation of a Chilean cast, made up of actress Tamara Acosta and actors Cristián Carvajal and Álvaro Espinoza, “Ella lo ama” had its world premiere during the Teatro a Mil International Festival 2021.
