Teatro a Mil International Festival 2025 presents a work that tells of the forced displacement that the inhabitants of the Vereda del Santo José, Colombia, must undergo. The protagonist of this story is the sheep Berenée, who sees this forced migration as a “walk.”

Through the eyes of Berenée, a journey full of adversity and humor is narrated, where war and suffering are seen from an innocent perspective, which causes ambiguous laughter in the audience. The sheep Berenée, the Transit Girl and the Egyptian Ali, who left his country fleeing the Desert Wars, will wander aimlessly fleeing from the hunters.

A story of migrants and migrations, of people who have to leave their homes to start inhabiting other types of spaces. The work is presented by the National Center for the Arts (CNA), and Teatro Petra.
