The third production of the Chilean company Teatro Anónimo, with direction, playwriting, and acting by Trinidad González, uses live music and singing to talk about death, but as an invitation to live life.
Memoria is a dreamlike journey in which four actors play living and dead characters who face the dilemma of assuming responsibility for their own lives. Through the transgression of linear time and the superimposition of diverse situations that mix drama and humor, these characters inhabit everyday, mythical, and poetic spaces. Crossed by original music performed live by the actors themselves, the scenes take us on a journey through memories and inward.

“La música original tocada en vivo por los mismos actores son la esencia de la obra, y nos transportan a lugares que no nos quedan tan claros, pero da lo mismo, porque la potencia de la interpretación en vivo, junto con los elementos sonoros que ellos suelen utilizar, como los loops, generan una especie de concierto escénico que logra el punto fuerte emocional de la obra”.
