A group of female legislators debate and confront a world crisis from a spaceship orbiting the Earth. This attractive show, the successor of the piece that consecrated the Piel de Lava Company in the Argentine theater scene, is presented as performative and sound research on contemporary political discourses.
Through the observation of the staging of current politics, Parlamento gravitates to a dystopian scenario where a group of female legislators debate in an incessant and circular fashion. Meanwhile the Earth -or what is left of it- has become an abstraction, a "down under", a place besieged by flames.
From a ship that protects them from fire and keeps them orbiting in space, the representatives of the Parliament in Global Orbit perform their duties, sing hymns, vote on laws, and desperately embrace the goodness of performance.
