The Chilean company OANI, based in Valparaíso, arrives at Platea 25 to introduce us to the world of form-animation theater, delving into its history of creation and leadership of the Lambe-Lambe Theater in Chile.
OANI Teatro was born as a company in Santiago de Chile in 1998, residing in Brazil for 5 years. It was created to produce theatrical shows with actors and animated forms, forming artistic teams according to the nature of the project, renewing and experimenting with scenic languages that spread to humanity.
Since 2007 it has been based in Valparaíso and directs its work in two major lines of action: creation, development, strengthening and leadership in Chile of the Lambe-Lambe Theater; and the research/creation of Theater and Animation theater in different formats.
Casa OANI is a space of community culture, research, residence, creation and production dedicated mainly to the performing arts in Valparaíso.
To date, OANI has performed 33 independently produced shows and has participated in more than 70 international festivals and meetings.
