The choice to go to this territory arose from the urgent call of a river drowned by mercury due to illegal gold exploration on its banks. This project articulates the language of theater and analog photography as a device to listen to the testimony of the Tapajós River about the contamination of its waters by mercury used in illegal gold mining in the middle Tapajós region. Chemical elements that can kill a river can produce photography. The same chemical elements that can make beings disappear, can make beings appear.
