Between 1973 and 1990, more than 20,000 chilean children of Mapuche origin were torn from their mothers' arms to be adopted irregularly in countries such as France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, among others. As part of the state policies implemented by the military board, a de facto government system was set up after the coup d'état in Chile.

The wounds and cracks generated during 17 years in a territory at the end of the world are still open and KIMVNTeatro, a company dedicated for 16 years to the rescue of memory, orality and defense of human rights of the Mapuche people, will dive again through a process of transdisciplinary investigation/creation, through the dialogue between the performing arts, sciences, documentary research, audiovisual language, immersive sound and 3D animation, in search of justice and reparation for children whose childhood was violated, building a journey that will connect us with memory, through the message of trees and the cycles of nature.

This project is sponsored in its research and writing process by Punctuate! Theatre and Pemmican Collective Playwrights' Cohort, Canada and Centro de Estudios Interculturales e Indígena CIIR, Chile.
