De La Huella Teatro | Dirección de Alejandra Rojas
The figure of the rapanui woman, through this show of the process, will give testimony of a fragmented memory that is reconstituted until today, through the performing arts as a heritage, giving value to cultural diversity, the right to life, and the valuation of the historical-cultural memory of Rapa Nui.
TE MANA HAKA RA: El Poder que Permanece (The Power that Remains), is a project of theatre play and stage production in residence, focused on the enhancement of the historical and testimonial memory of the Rapanui people. The scenic proposal, linked to physical theater and dance, puts in the center the rapanui woman as a witness, body, voice, and expressive capital to give knowledge of the memory and ancestral tradition of her people, recognizing her value as a political and social figure preponderant throughout the recomposition of its history, which for decades has been displaced
